Our disposable cuvettes are compatible with most popular spectrophotometers. Manufactured from high quality, optically clear polystyrene, they are intended for determinations in the 340-800nm (visible) wavelength range. Cuvettes are available in three sizes: 1.5mL micro, 2.5mL semi-micro and 4.5mL macro. All sizes are 12.5mm square, 45mm height and are compatible with various spectrophotometer models including: Carolina, Spectronic200, Spectronic20 and 20D, SpectronicEducator, Genesys™ and Accuris SmartDrop™. • Fits most spectrophotometers and photometers• Polystyrene for use in visible range (340-800nm)• Protective packaging – dust-proof and non-scratch• Absorption reproducibility error of less than ±1%**Caps are available and can be ordered separately.

Sealed liquid cells have a corrosion-resistant construction, making them ideal for highly volatile samples. Each cell has a precise path length which is calibrated using the interference pattern generated by an empty cell in the beam of a spectrometer. These cells are ideal for quantitative analysis where you require an accurate reproducible cell thickness. They use a lead spacer which is amalgamated to the window material. The resultant bond forms a good leak-free seal which is effective in preventing evaporation and loss of sample. You can fill or empty liquid samples easily. The sealed liquid cell is an integral unit and cannot be disassembled. Cuvette, PMMA, Macro. These cuvettes are an excellent choice for most spectrophotometry applications in the visible range. Manufactured from polystyrene (PS) or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA or ‘Acrylic’), they provide accurate, reliable results, even at wavelengths as low as 300nm and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavity number to ensure the lowest variation in extinction coefficient. These disposable cuvettes are available in macro and semi-micro sizes to accommodate most sample volumes. Semi-micro cuvettes require only 1.5mL of sample volume. Cuvettes include an arrow mark to indicate direction of transmission and reduce variation. Compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers.

UV-Cuvette, Ultra-Micro. UV-Transparent Cuvettes are a disposable alternative to quartz cuvettes in DNA, RNA and protein analysis as well as many other applications between 220nm & 900nm. Ultra-micro sized UV-Cuvettes may be used with sample volumes as small as 70µL. They are suitable for analyzing the visible region and UV region except for cuvette 83070-30 which is for visible range only.
